SRI.V.N.K. MENON NURSERY:

We oprate the mine in an systamatic and eco-friendly way. We plant tree saplings reguarerly in and around our mine as a part of our green belt development, afforestation actvites.

We have started our own nursery to supply saplings of different tree species for plantation at the mine (green belt development, afforestation,) and outside the lease area on environment protection work. manures(organic and bio) and other chemical fertilizers are used for faster growth of plants.

    Drip irrigation system

Kinds of saplings are as follows:

    Fruit bearing (Badam, Laxamana Fal, Jack Fruit, Monkeys Jack, Cherry, Sapota, Mango, etc.)
    Avenue plants (Baniyan, Silver Oak,Rain Tree, Gulmoher,Kadamba, Bamboo, Spethodia ,Basavana Pada,etc.)
    Bio fuel(Neem,Pongemia,Honge, etc)
    Medicinal (Sandlewood,Tulasi, Mint, Madanavshini, etc.)
